Birth Matters Giveaway

I am giving away a copy of Ina May Gaskin's new book, "Birth Matters." Ina May Gaskin is America's leading midwife and the author of several books. Her latest book explores modern maternity care in the U.S. and the underlying causes of our poor maternal and neonatal mortality rates. It's an eye-opening exposure of how birth impacts our culture.

  4. It's my first time stopping in at your review blog. I'd love to win the book. A girl I know is facing a breech birth, not sure which way she's planning. Perhaps this book will answer some questions for her.

  9. I would love to win this book. I had a home birth with my 4th child in January after reading your birth story and watching your video when I was pregnant with my 3rd. I was planning a homebirth with her, but couldn't find a midwife to take me on at 37 weeks. However, this time I did and it was life-altering. My husband is now a HUGE ADVOCATE for homebirthing and tells everyone how our son entered the world. I have decided that once my children are a bit older I, too, am going to study midwifery. I cannot imagine another career in the world.

  10. Sounds like an amazing read! Being a VBAC mom, I really wish I would have researched and read more material like Birth Matters before the birth of my first son that ended in cesarean. It's so true that a healthy baby is not all that matters. I would love to win and give to my SIL that is expecting her first.
